MUSIC MAGAZINE - Day 2

In todays lesson i completed the design of my front cover. i added new texts, coverlines, a barcode and the price. 

i used a much larger different font and matching colours to the headline for marni's name so it stands out and is clear that she is the main feature of this magazine. i also used a red colour for the exclusive texts to draw the reader in, and it stand out from all ordinary texts. for the price i created  a ticket shape, filled it with the same colour as the masthead in photoshop and added 'issue 1' and the price of £2.99. i think this was a good idea because its unusual and yet still effective. 


overall i am very happy with my front cover. it portrays the style of music it includes and uses most magazine conventions.
